After each star celebrated Short — and cracked various jokes — Fallon, 50, appeared and presented theOnly Murders in the Buildingstar with a token to celebrate his latest achievement.

“I’d like to present to you the official five-timers club jacket, in exactly your size, a women’s small,” the late-night host teased.

Elsewhere during the show, Short took part in various sketches, including one in which he played a man who gets into aparking lot altercationand another where he portrays anairport employee reporting on travelersduring the week of Christmas.

One other sketch saw him star as adrama teacher who critiquesA Charlie Brown Christmas.

Hozier, meanwhile, served as the evening’s musical guest, returning to the Studio 8H stage for the first time in over a decade. The musician last appeared onSNLin October 2014.

SNLannounced the cast for its milestone 50th season earlier this year.

Ashley Padilla, Emil Wakim and Jane Wickline have been added to the sketch comedy show’s roster, whilePunkie Johnson, Chloe Troast and Molly Kearney have all stepped away. Returning cast membersMarcello Hernandez, Michael Longfellow andDevon Walker, meanwhile, were promoted to the main cast after two years each as featured players.

Michael Che,Colin Jost, James Austin Johnson,Bowen Yang, Mikey Day, Andrew Dismukes,Chloe Fineman,Heidi Gardner,Ego Nwodim, Sarah Sherman andKenan Thompsonround out the remainder of the cast.

SNL’s next episode, and first of 2025, is scheduled to air on Jan. 18.
