Lily-Rose Deppis celebrating her newest age milestone.
The actress and model, who is the daughter ofJohnny Deppand his exVanessa Paradis, marked her 23rd birthday on social media over the weekend.
Lily-Roseshared three snapshots— captioned simply, “🍦23🍧🌸!” — to her Instagram feed, including one of a bouquet of flowers and two photos of her wearing a cheerful pink sash that reads “Birthday Princess.”
The actress recently starred in movies likeWolf,VoyagersandSilent Night, and she’s currently working on The Weeknd’s upcoming seriesThe Idol. Back in April 2021, Lily-Rose toldEntertainment Tonightwhether she and Depp hoped to share the screen for a movie someday soon.
“I think never say never. That’s really not something that I consider first and foremost; what’s interesting to me is the particular character that I may or may not be playing and the story that it’s telling,” she said at the time. “But yeah, I love to work with great actors.”

Lily-Rose’s birthday on Friday came as Depp, 58, and ex-wifeAmber Heard’s lawyers made their closing arguments inthe defamation trialthat kicked off April 11. A verdict is expected soon. On Sunday, Deppperformed guitar onstage with Jeff Beckin England, making a surprise appearance.
A seven-person jury began deliberating Friday afternoon. Depp is suing Heard, 36, for defamation over a December 2018 op-ed theAquamanactress wrote about coming forward with domestic-abuse claims. He’s seeking $50 million in damages, claiming it stifled his career prospects.

Depp and Heard married in February 2015 during an intimatecelebration on his private islandin the Bahamas. While on the stand last month, Depp recalled that Lily-Rose, the older of his two kids, skipped the nuptials, which had about 20 to 25 people in attendance, according to Depp.
“My daughterLily-Rose did not come to the wedding. She and Ms. Heard were not on particularly great terms, for several reasons,” he said.

When Heardreturned to the witness standlast week, she described the trial as “torture” for her, saying she receives hundreds of death threats a day. “It’s been agonizing,” she said, referencing the online “mocking” of her testimony. “I just want Johnny to leave me alone.” She added, “I don’t deserve this. I want to move on.”
The jury resumes deliberation Tuesday after the Memorial Day holiday. When the verdict comes through, it will have been 18 months since Depplost his U.K. libel case.
In November 2020, the actor lost the highly publicized lawsuit in London against British tabloidThe Sunfor calling him a “wife-beater.” The court upheld the outlet’s claims as being “substantially true” and Heard testified to back up the claims. In March 2021, his attempt tooverturn the decision was overruled.
