The singer/actress, 30, appeared onToday with Hoda & JennaMonday morning, where she was asked if she is still with boyfriendDarius Jackson.
Co-hosts Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager spoke about Palmer attendinga Los Angeles Beyoncé concertwith Jackson on Sept. 4, after their public relationship drama.
“Not y’all trying to get into it! They trying it on theTodayshow,” joked Palmer.Hager said, “We want to know if you’re happy.” Palmer replied, “Yes, life is good. I have nothing but gratitude, honestly. Seriously.”
When Kotb asked if that meant “for the relationship…?” Palmer clarified, “I’m not trying to be specific!”
“Well, are y’all together?” asked Hager. Said Palmer, “I’m going to take a page out of my girlBeyoncé’s book: Mind y’all’s business.” Hager responded, “We will do that.”
“I feel so empowered,” she said. “Your body has done something insane; you birth a body. So any insecurities or self-consciousness I had before really did wither away because, like, honey, I did something incredible.”

TheNopeactress’s relationship with fitness instructor and actor Jackson has been unclear in recent weeks.
Jackson drew backlash online in July when he publiclycriticized Palmer’s attireon a social media post of her dancing with Usher as he serenaded her during his Las Vegas residency.
“It’s the outfit tho.. you a mom,” he tweeted in response to photos of Palmer, who wore a sheer dress at the show. He deleted his Twitter account shortly after facing backlash.
They also spent time together for her 30th birthday at the end of August. In one video shared on social media at the time, Jacksonreferred to Palmer as “my partner in crime.“He wrote in another tribute to her, “Happy Birthday to a one of a kind being. Hoping your 30s brings you many joys & triumphs!”

“At first, it definitely was hard because it could all be very overwhelming. It was definitely overwhelming and intense at first,” he said. Palmer agreed, “It was.”
“You almost feel that pressure of needing to be perfect,” Jackson continued. “It really confused me and infiltrated my mind because not only did I have to hold myself to that perfect standard, I was also holding you to a perfect standard as well.”
He added, “So any moment of flaw on my side or on your side, it was World War III because it’s like—,” Palmer added, “—and now the world sees us.”
“Exactly,” Jackson said.
