In the professional dancer’s second photo, she’s seen hugging her older brother,Derek Hough, who has recently shared that his wifeHayley Erberthas undergone a series of emergency surgeries, including anemergency craniectomyand askull implant.

Julianne also shared a photo where she’s photographed tightly hugging her sister-in-law. The two matched in cream-colored cozy pajamas as they held each other close.

Ahead of Julianne’s Instagram post, Derek shared that Erbert had a“successfully completed” cranioplasty surgeryon Thursday. Erbert’s surgery — where a “large portion of her skull” was replaced — followed heremergency craniectomyfrom earlier this month.
“My sincere appreciation goes to the exceptional medical team. Their expertise and steady hands were pivotal in this journey, ensuring a smooth and successful surgery. Especially Dr. Mai who not only performed the surgery but was also the one who saved her life 2 weeks ago,” Derek shared in his ThursdayInstagram.

The emergency procedures followed the news that Erbert was being treated for a cranial hematoma. She began experiencing symptoms while the couple was on their Symphony of Dance tour stop in Washington D.C., on Dec. 6.
Ahead of Erbert’s initial surgery,Julianne shared the news on Instagramand asked followers to pray for her sister-in-law. “Please pray and send all your love, healing and light to Hayley and Derek 🙏,” Julianne wrote. “Thank you from the depths of our families hearts!❤️.”
