DuringBravoCon, LeCroy toldEntertainment Tonightthat Simpson slid into her Instagram direct messages to talk about theHalloween post. LeCroy toldET, “I was like, ‘OK, this is amazing. I feel like I made it.'”
Ahead of sending a private message to LeCroy, Simpson also commented on the reality star’s Instagram. “Best with miracle whip, apples and chopped pickles 😋," Simpson wrote.
On Wednesday, LeCroy shared on her Instagram Story how excited she was to catch Simpson’s attention.
“When I tell you that I just screamed and scared the living s— out of Brett,” LeCroy said, perUs Weekly. “He was like, ‘What?’ [And] I was like, ‘Jessica Simpson is in my f—ing messages!’ I’ve made it … and I feel a collab coming. Belk, Dillard’s, call us. I mean, I think it needs to happen.”
“Chicken of the sea #newlyweds,” LeCroy captioned the Instagram post.
In addition to LeCroy’s recreation, she also shared a screenshot of the infamous moment as well as a clip from the 2003 episode.
“Is that stupid? What?” Simpson continued. “Don’t make fun of me right now. I am not in the mood.”
“You act like you’ve never had tuna before," Lachey replied.
The clip concluded with Simpson noting, “I’ve had tuna fish sandwiches and stuff like this.”

LeCroy and Randle are preparing to celebrate their first wedding anniversary on Nov. 16. The two first married in aCharleston, South Carolina courthouseand celebrated once more three days later in an intimate celebration at theChablé Maromain Riviera Maya, Mexico.
