Pushing Daisies may be dead , but that does n’t mean that producer Bryan Fuller is n’t look out for the stars of his former show . In fact , one of them is about to show up on Heroes .
Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Swoosie Kurtz – who play Chuck ’s Aunt ( no despoiler here ) Lily Charles in Pushing Daisies – will be appearing in the NBC show ’s “ Fugitives ” arc in a persona create especially for her by Fuller . Kurtz will be trifle Millie , “ an old society supporter of Angela Petrelli ’s , ” concord to the site ’s Michael Ausiello .
( This is n’t Chuck ’s first auntie to make an appearance on Heroes ; Ellen Greene , Daisies ’ Vivian Charles , was Sylar ’s surrogate female parent Virginia Gray , in the show ’s first season . )
If we ca n’t have another time of year or several of Pushing Daisies , then we ’ll gayly watch as Fuller brings more and more of the stamp to his new superhuman home . After all , there ’s no way that a niggling bit of Chi McBride would n’t make Heroes much more watchable , and who does n’t want to see more of Anna Friel ? What would be even better would be if total just whole - heartedly brought Lee Pace over to the show as a psychoneurotic piemaker who can fetch the bushed back to life , but that way of life uncollectible fan - fic Trygve Halvden Lie .
That said , if you happen to be say , Mr. Fuller ? You make love it ’d be awful .
