However , Apple ’s consistently passed the buck to the Unicode Consortium , the group technically responsible for emoji standardization . of late last year , the lilliputian council of type arbitersfinally concede and said it would create a whole clump of new emoji with a much broad scope of skin tone .
That ’s a few of Apple ’s rendering above . Basically , when you select any emoji that contains people , you ’re extend a dropdown menu of skin tone — and hair colors — to go along with it . The option to modify cutis shade is peculiarly only available to individual human emoji , not for those depicting couples or group .
plain , there are more than six combinations of hair and tegument color amongst the many trillion of humans on Earth . But hey , these new emoji are surely a step in the right counseling .
