Hartnett has signed on to headline Gunslinger , to be directed by Blood : The Last Vampire ’s Chris Nahon . The movie will update the classical western plot of a man seeking retaliation on an outlaw ring for killing his kinsfolk by set case in a “ near future … snowy waste of a post - apocalyptic America , ” consort to Variety .
