In short , it looks nice . The DSi hardware itself is no longer shining or plasticky . Instead , its matte finish pass it a look that is ever - so - slightly rubbery , which sit down nice in the hand . The thinner physical body and braggy screens of the DSi are noticeable , but not necessarily drastic . And of course the inclusion of the non - proprietary SD posting slot is welcome , if a minute foreign at first .
I ran through about 30 second of various DSi audio recording and camera demonstration ( no web web browser demo , hrm ) , and from what I saw , I ’m intrigued . The use of the L / R bumpers as the shutter also gives the feature of speech a prissy feel . Essentially , the Game Boy Camera has been reborn .

Nintendo demonstrate Warioware Snapped , which makes considerable habit of the camera ( something uncommitted to all developer ) , and point how originative software could make the DSi more than just a light computer hardware refresh .
