MTV baby-sit down with Pacific Rim theater director Guillermo del Toro to reveal the arcanum of the new Pacific Rim house trailer . Some thing drift from the interesting ( the Kaiju have toxic blood ) to the singular ( it takes two pilots to drive each Jaeger , with each controlling one side ) to the adorable ( this is del Toro ’s attempt to make his inner 12 - class - honest-to-goodness child ’s best movie ever ) . He does n’t explain why Portal ’s GlaDOS is the voice of the Jaegers ’ operating systems , but I guess he wants to save a little something for the movie . Watch the vid below .
