One of the biggest surprise out of the Hunger Games movie adaptation was the molding of Lenny Kravitz as Katniss ’ supremely gifted hairdresser ( and close ally ) Cinna . Even though he can pull off the stylist ’s signature tune gold eyeliner , that does n’t mean he can pull off acting , or can he ? resolve for yourself with the first ever Cinna - centric time from The Hunger Games . ( EDIT : A lot of you are mentioning that Kravitz ’s role as Nurse John in Precious might be enough to stay any fright ) .
