So a lover got grip of a couple of the different novelizations of the motion picture , T : ROTF for poor , and post an improbably detailed synopsis . So when the Primes find ancient Earth , they chose to leave it untouched – except for the Fallen , who rebelled because he wanted the Matrix for himself . The other twelve Primes obliterate themselves and the Matrix in a tomb , and the Fallen seek for it . Only the last Prime , Optimus , could cease him .
So when the film picks up , a newfangled private organization called NEST ( Nonbiological Extraterrestrial Species Treaty ) , consist of human beings and Autobots , tracks down Demolisher in Shanghai . Just as they close in on him , he transforms . Optimus and Ironhide take him down , but then Sideswipe takes out Sidways . As Demolisher die , he state something about the Fallen .
Meanwhile , Sam ’s at home , watch over Congressional hearings about the robot incident – they pick a robotics society , as a cover story . Mikaela calls to litigate with Sam about have a retentive - length human relationship , now that Sam is headed to college . Sam has a “ foresightful - aloofness relationship outfit , ” include his shirt from the first motion picture . But a shard of Allspark falls out of it , and animates a gang of kitchen gizmo , so a microwave fights a cell phone . mirth , as they say , ensues . The microwave defeats the mobile phone phone by nuking it . Bumblebee ruin the rogue appliances , along with part of the house . Then Sam recount Bumblebee he ’s croak to college without him .
Sam give Mikaela the fragment to keep safe , and she puts it in a safety in her dad ’s bike shop , but Wheelie plans to steal it .
Meanwhile , at NEST HQ , the Autobots do n’t bang who the Fallen is , because the Allspark contain their history . At a NEST debriefing , NSA advisor Galloway does n’t trust the Autobots and say the Decepticons are only on Earth because of them . He asks if the Autobots are uncoerced to leave Earth if the prexy bespeak it . Soundwave listens in on the encounter and learns Megatron ’s location , so he sends Ravage and the Doctor to break in and slip the Allspark shard .
At college , Sam contact his wacky roomy Leo , who has a confederacy website , but he ’s always being scooped by someone named Robo Warrior . Leo has hacked the database so all the sexy girl experience on their floor – including Alice , the Desexycon . When Sam and Leo go to a party , Sam embark on seeing weird symbol and sketching them on the cupcake . Alice tries to dance with Sam , then he listen Bumblebee ’s alarm system . Sam and Alice leave in Bumblebee , who keep back ill-use on the brakes , duck Alice with antifreeze and generally trying to sabotage their “ date . ” Then Bumblebee takes Sam , on his own , to a graveyard where Optimus tells him the Allspark fragment was stolen , and Optimus asks Sam to speak for the Autobots . Sam says he just wants to hold out a normal lifetime , but Optimus aver there ’s no other choice .
Ravage and the MD go to the sea flooring and insert the fragment into Megatron , and he boot .
At Sam ’s college , he goes to a physics lecture ( learn by Rainn Wilson ) and then Sam starts swiftness - reading the physics book , and verbalise about how Einstein was wrong . Sam wigs out and talks about astronomic convergences . He gets kicked out of class , terminate up in the depository library , and watch a Scripture on his grandfather .
Meanwhile , Megatron leaves Earth in “ Cybertronian jetform ” and meets up with the Nemesis and Starscream . Megatron goes and meets with the Fallen , who claims the ship . The Fallen sound out there ’s another way of life to create an Allspark . Megatron points out the Allspark was destroy , and the Fallen say “ So were you . ” Then the Fallen sends them to find Sam , who knows the “ localization . ” In counter , the Fallen promise Megatron the great power of the Primes . Megatron , Starscream and 15 other Decepticons leave for Earth .
Meanwhile , Mikaela finds Wheelie sneaking around her papa ’s motorcycle store , and he gets smitten with her and calls her a warrior goddess . He confesses he ’s been sent to get the noesis that was shroud in the fragment .
And then Alice , the Desexycon , puts her move on Sam , while Mikaela is on her room to him . Leo sees an Alice in Wonderland stem - park automaton that looks just like her on television receiver , and somehow realizes this have in mind she ’s a robot too . So he rush along to warn Sam . They get there just as a five - foot tentacle comes out of Alice ’s skull and starts strangling Sam . She sheds her skin , revealing the robot beneath . Leo , Sam and Mikaela flee in a car , and Alice crashes on the hood .
Leo wonder if Sam and Mikaela are from the future and they ’re here to discourage him about sea wolf golem . ( Like in the Terminator , in other words . ) They run over Alice , but then they get kidnapped by a “ chopper ” Decepticon . shortly the Decepticons are torturing Sam for his information , threatening to saw his head candid to get the information he has . Optimus and Bumblebee rushing into rescue the kids , but Megatron spears Optimus from behind and takes him out . As Optimus dies ( noooo ! ) he tells Sam to get out of there . Ironhide , Ratchet and the Twins get and blast Megatron , who flee .
So Megatron is frustrated , because the Autobots have hide Sam . Soundwave air a message to everyone in the world , saying they have one “ solar wheel ” to deliver Sam , or they ’ll ruin one city after another . Sam ’s parent , holiday in Paris , see this and freak .
The NSA guy disbands NEST , and Sam feels bad that he did n’t listen to Prime . He ’s still drawing those freaky symbol , which are the language of the Primes . Turns out Leo has visualize them on Robo Guy ’s web site . And Robo Guy turns out to be Simmons ( John Turturro ) who ’s working in his mummy ’s food shop . Simmons says the Transformers have been here a long time .
Sam agnize Megatron is after another energy reference , somewhere on Earth , that even the Autobots do n’t know about . They question their captive Decepticon , Wheelie , and he mentions some honest-to-goodness Transformers , do it as Seekers . There are ten of these on Earth , the closest in Washington , DC . This turns out to be Jetfire , who ’s in the Smithsonian . Jetfire is pitiful to get word the war is still go on , and it ’s why he defected to the Autobots . Wheelie is excited to listen it ’s possible to defect .
Sam ’s symbols turn out to be directions . Jetfire open up a black-market golf hole hepatic portal vein thingy , and says late models of Transformers do n’t have this content because of fear of ruinous failure . He teleports everyone to Egypt , and explains the backstory of the Fallen and the sun reaper thingy . He says only a Prime can defeat the Fallen – and possibly the Matrix can heal Optimus . Sam tells Lennox to add Optimus , but he makes the error of going past a security camera … so now Soundwave roll in the hay where he is .
Lennox process a fleet to put up naval support . Meanwhile , Sam and Mikaela process , and then Sam clear where the Matrix is hidden . They go into a tomb … but there ’s nothing there . Either Sam and Leo or the Twins ( count on which novel you read ) have a scuffle , throw a John Rock which defecate a hole in the wall … revealing Cyberglyphs . The Matrix is there ! Behind the wall ! OMG ! But once the Matrix touches the melody , it turns into debris – so Sam put it in a sock . A sock !
So then the Naval ships and Decepticons get at the same time , but Soundwave shuts down communications and gives the naval commander a false signal , so he ’s waiting for attack didactics that never fall . Sam and Mikaela , toting their sock full of star power , run to Optimus ’ consistency , as Starscream attacks them .
Then the Fallen appears on top of a Pyramids of Egypt , and the Constructicons unite together to form Devastator . Megatron tells the Fallen he ’s found the equipment , but the Fallen asks where the Matrix , the necessary power informant , is . Then Devastator go up the Great Pyramid and smashes it to discover the lost machine – and he sucks all the debris into his grammatical construction thingy .
Simmons recognizes the gadget , and somehow figures out the communications electronic jamming signaling is over . He uses his cellphone to connect with the naval ship and severalise them he ’ll give them aim coordinates for their Mach 7 track gun . The Admiral finally realise they ’ve been tricked and mobilizes all his force .
Sam nearly gets to Optimus , but then he ’s catch in an explosion and knock unconscious . When he wakes up , he meet the Primes , who praise his courage and tell him they ’re leave him the Matrix as a reward , the sock full of stuff reform into a dagger - shaped thingy . Mikaela thinks he ’s drained and narrate Sam she bang him . Sam says he get it on her too , then festinate over to Optimus plunges the Matrix into his chest of drawers , which revives him and transferral all the Allspark memory Sam had take in .
Then the Fallen shows up and grab the Matrix , teleporting himself back to the top of the pyramid . Jetfire volunteers his parts to repair Optimus , sacrificing his biography in the process . Ratchet puts Optimus together again , good as new . Meanwhile , Simmons get the naval ship to open fire at Devastator , who dampen back down into separate Constructicons . The Fallen fires the twist , but Optimus deflects part of it , and the good time polish off Megatron and Starscream .
The Fallen and Optimus have their big confrontation . The Fallen says that he ’s a Prime , and Optimus should respect him . But Optimus says the Fallen gave up that name when he turned against his brothers . Megatron and Starscream endure away , as Optimus smashes the twist and mystify the Fallen about the oral sex with the pieces . The Fallen tries to escape via a wormhole , but Optimus uses the Matrix to close up it and opens a different wormhole , which he tosses the fall into . The wormhole closes .
Then our Italian sandwich are reunite , and they find Sam ’s parent pin down inside a Decepticon that was push Bumblebee in the desert . Yay . [ TFW2005 ]
