In a holy crap stat o ’ the week , AT&T sold a record setting 9.4 million smartphones in the quaternary fourth part of 2011 . 7.6 million of that 9.4 million were iPhones . 7.6 MILLION . That ’s a ridiculous 81 percent of all AT&T smartphones sold ! That ’s only 1.8 million phones lead to burst between Android , Windows Phone and BlackBerry ( ha ! ) . That is freak addict .
AT&T said that “ the legal age ” of the 7.6 million iPhones sell were iPhone 4S and that they betray 3.3 million more iPhones than Verizon . It ’s not that Android is doing terribly — AT&T just had its best Android sales quarter with Android sales twice as much as they were last yr — it ’s just that the iPhone is a relentlessly dominating fauna of a sound that just wo n’t check selling .
