I ’m glad I only see Alex Posada ’s “ Particle 1.0 ” on the internet , because if I came across this energising carving in genuine life , I would only do two things : duck’s egg and back .
Created in Barcelona , Posada ’s carving use all sorts of unique gadgetry to answer to its environment , translating the crusade around it into a terrifying spectacle of lighting and phone .
A pair of sensors above the sculpture observe exhibit - goers ’ movement and relays them to several LED Inner Light , spinning on a concentric structure resembling an atomic diagram . A surround sound organisation in the showing space is synchronized with the light .

What does all of that tech amount to ? A spinning , whirring neon revolve that look like some form of bomb , moments after detonation . Or an alien pod , hovering threateningly . Or some other thing that ’s threatening my life . All I know is that nontextual matter appreciation has never been scarier . [ Designboom ]
