At least two airlines have adopted the brilliant estimation of allowing passenger to endeavor to baby-sit as far away as possible from auditive powder kegs — babies on airplanes .
I ca n’t confirm this , but based on my decades of flying I trust it is a scientific impossibility for a babe to make it through an total flight of steps without pule with the ferocity of someone who has slammed their fingers in an overhead bank identification number . It ’s also inevitable that if there is a babe on my flight , it will be induct within a couple of feet of me .
And that ’s okay ! Babies have to fly too . I imagine parents traveling with babies have enough to worry about without dickhead giving them stink - eyes . So I just accept whatever damage is happening to my eardrums .

But if I ever fly Japan Airlines ( JAL ) or All Nippon Airways , I can counteract fate and reserve a seat that is n’t near a toddler . JAL recently foretell it now uses abooking toolthat displays where tyke aged two and younger are sitting . The Guardianreports that All Nippon Airways has already had this characteristic .

The feature may not work if parent book through third - political party services . JALnotes on its sitethe baby icon might not show a flight is changed properly before departure .
Hopefully , airlines in America will commence adopting this dick . Though I envisage if this catches on , carriers will use it as a direction to charge up more for certain seats .
