It had to come about : barrage with question at the Golden Globes , Harvey Dent actor Aaron Eckhart could n’t baulk tease the imperativeness with new Dark Knight sequel rumors .
Faced with a media gantlet , Eckhart did what would any dear actor ’s PR reps would tell him to do , spin it ! Play overmodest , smile , and wave in your bazillion dollar tuxedo and they ’ll be drop a line you into the next Batman moving picture tomorrow . Here ’s what Eckhart told MTV , winking as if to mean that he ’d already read the ( nonexistent ) Batman 3 script :
“ I call up Harvey — if he ’s not utter — is in a serious coma , ” say Eckhart , “ and I ’m not certain he ’s come out . They might pull the plug on him . ”
So there you have it — at least he ’s hinting that Harvey may not actually be dead , which is a major modification from the last time he plow that subject . But before you execute wild with the speculations , bear in psyche it ’s in all likelihood way too early for Eckhart to make out anything one way or another . It ’s all just baseless and crazy speculation at this point .
