Many episodes of Seinfeld revolved around the four main characters attempting to find each other . There ’s no doubt that with mobile phone phones and other advanced technology Seinfeld would have been a lot different . Here are ten episodes that would be difficult to pull off with today ’s technology .
1 . The Boyfriend
This two - part instalment is most famous for Keith Hernandez have a cameo as Elaine ’s new boyfriend . The funnier subplot in this instalment , is George attempting to further his unemployment extension by saying he is close to a caper with Vandelay Industries , a rubber-base paint manufacturer .

So as not to turn out mistrust , George give the unemployment office Jerry ’s routine which will bear in as the routine for Vandelay Industries . If you ’ve never seen Seinfeld before , you should now be realize that George is a short , stocky , slow - witted bald man . With the newfangled cell phones , George could have easily give his prison cell number instead of Jerry ’s home earphone issue . Eventually , Kramer picks up Jerry ’s home , destroy George ’s plan . George ’s knickers diminish down .
2 . The Parking Garage
In probably the most obvious display of a need for a mobile phone - phone , the four end up forgetting where the park their car in a New Jersey parking garage . The four eventually divide up to find the railway car , and then they lose each other . George and Jerry both get apprehend for public micturition , and Kramer and Elaine are left to look for the motorcar on their own . I still stir up up in the midriff of the night with a dusty elbow grease , hearing Elaine shriek “ JERRRYYY ! ” . It haunts my eternal soul .

Anyway , a simple text message would have permit the four to get out of the garage , and George would n’t have omit his parents anniversary . Worst of all , we missed out on see Frank Costanza , the greatest recurring character reference in anything ever .
3 . The Florida key
This three - part sequence involves Jerry countermand Kramer ’s key privileges , Kramer go on an odyssey to Hollywood to pursue his acting calling , and Kramer consequentially being charged with execution .

Jerry is also offered an appearance on The Tonight Show , and bestow George along for the ride . They assume they will also bump Kramer . When Jerry tries to contact Kramer , he is nowhere to be found . Of course , if Kramer had a jail cell phone , Jerry would have instantly add up into contact with Kramer , end the three part sequence within the first twenty min . Buzzkill .
4 . The Bubble male child
Driving to George ’s girlfriend Susan ’s cabin home , Elaine and Jerry take a freestanding car from the couple . The two cars ( Elaine & Jerry , George & Susan ) end up make a pit stop at a coffee tree shop , where Jerry take on a man who has a son that lives in a house of cards . This “ small fry ” loves Jerry , and his Church Father begs Jerry to come meet the kid . Elaine eventually guilts Jerry into going , and the two elevator car reluctantly are set off to satisfy the boy in the plastic house of cards .

Jerry terminate up getting lost on the way ( a unproblematic phone call / GPS search would have foreclose this ) , and George arrive before Jerry and Elaine do . With a phone , George could have called Jerry and call for him how much longer he was going to take being mislay .
George and Susan are then squeeze to play Trivial Pursuit with a rude , surly , plastic son ( but it does moderate to the classical “ It ’s MOORS ! Not MOOPS ! ” scene ) .
5 . The Movie

Another classic “ Oh - What - If - They - Had - Cell - Phones!-This - Ruins - The - Episode - For - Me ” sequence . The episode centers around the four attempting to receive at one central location to see a movie . Jerry has a conflicting stand - up event , George gets in the awry telephone line , Kramer gets a Papaya King hot frump instead ( I favour Gray ’s Papaya . Once had 15 live hotdog and 6 drinks for 17 vaulting horse . What a bargain ! ) . Jerry assay to run ALL THE WAY BACK to the theatre to say he can not make the movie , but the three others are gone . I recollect you know what technology would have done .
6 . The Comeback
George Costanza is faced with a problem . He was just embarrassed by a co - worker who enounce “ Hey George , the ocean called ; they ’re running out of shrimp ! ” . He just thought of the perfect riposte ( The jerk store telephone . They ’re course out of you ! ” ) , but the co - worker has since been let go and is in Akron , Ohio .

George then flies out to Akron to deliver the line , where he of course mess it up .
He could have easy ring the guy rope with his cell speech sound , differentiate the joke , and been right smart more fain . George is not exactly skilled in think on the fly .
7 . The Chinese Restaurant

As the title says , the story takes spot inside a Chinese restaurant , notorious for being one of the regretful places on Earth . The four find themselves in a never - terminate wait lean , while the host of the restaurant keeps say “ 5 , 10 minute ” for their waiting time .
Again , George Costanza finds himself in a unstable berth . George needs to call his girlfriend , as they have agreed to at a specific fourth dimension . Of course , George is force to use a remuneration phone , but someone is hog that . He eventually is capable to call his lady friend , but is forced to go out a content . She call back soon after , but the legion says the call is for someone named “ Cartwright ” .
8 . The Pool Guy

To look at this from a different angle , this episode has the subplot in which Kramer has a exchangeable earphone number to that of the Moviefone hombre . Kramer , being Kramer , adopts the persona of the Moviefone guy rope , and takes calls .
That could never befall today , as anyone with an I.Q. of 70 + either uses the internet or their telephone set to find out film times . Does the Moviefone number even exist any longer ?
9 . The Muffin Tops

To once again look at this in a unlike angle , this episode was alone base on Elaine coming up with the idea for “ Muffin Tops ” , which are of course a gem without the bottom . Personally , I think this is a ugly mind , and ruins the point of exhaust the gem in the first place . Just get a danish if you want the top one-half .
Since , the gem top has become an actual intellectual nourishment , and takes 35 minutes to prepare ! Now , maybe the gem top come as an young of Seinfeld , but it was bind to befall rather or later .
10 . The Finale

We ’ve reach the end , and what better style to end the list , then to end it with the most polarizing Seinfeld instalment of all time . As a unearthly subplot in the instalment , Elaine is think to be send for her friend Jill , with her new cellular phone . Of of course , the crappy 1990 ’s earphone has no reception , and Elaine finally has to use her one headphone call from prison house on Jill . The prison house telephone set call is , of class , the “ king of telephone call ” .
