More than 20 people were injured in a small coastal fishing village in Taiwan on Tuesday after an arch bridge collapsed, according to multiple reports. The Nanfang’ao Bridge caved in and fell into the water around 9:30 a.m., sending an oil tanker truck plummeting onto multiple fishing boats below, according toTaiwan News. At least 26 people have died and 10 others are missing following days of heavy monsoon rains, landslides and floods in South Korea, according to theAssociated Press. Citing the country’s Ministry of the Interior and Safety, the outlet noted that the 26 deaths were reported on Friday and Saturday in the country’s central and southeastern regions. Thirteen others are injured.
